A Rocky Start

It always seems after some time off, things are always a little harder to jump back into. I haven't put in the long hours at the gym since november, and trying to start again has been frustrating. I'll go one or two really good workouts, and then be back to square one of nothing great. As anyone knows, it's so much easier to know what you should be doing, than actually doing that.

My goal for the week, is to get in 45-60 minutes of cardio each day, along with a good strength training sessions each day in. So far this week, I have only slacked once on the cardio, and it's only wednesday, so definitely a promising week. My other plan for the week is to finally make it to abs and core one this week, since for 3 weeks I've been saying I want to go.

Along with the workouts not being so great, my long runs so far have been decent, but not completing the distance. The first 5 miler, I got 4 in before blisters forced me to stop. That was definitely a sign for new shoes. The second long run of 5 miles, was good until cramping in my left calf set in towards the end of the run.

After these few small set backs, I am thinking this will be a good week!
